Landric grew up in Skorlanis with his father a shaman patrolling the town, and his mother an assistant to Helth, the Herbalist. He enjoyed greatly his younger years in Skorlanis and how close to nature everything was in it. It's majestic mountain location and remoteness, its forests and the great Rocs that nested there, and the farms and beekeepers; this all drew Landric onto the shamanistic path. In addition, Landric also looked up to his parents greatly and wanted to please them. However, even though Landric began to excel in the teachings from his parents, he also couldn't seem to keep out of trouble. He had a mischievous side that he couldn't repress, but most of all he had an entirely too blunt tongue. And while Landric might steal a few honey combs or add an explosive ingredient, he got in hot water constantly by not keeping his mouth shut. There were some pleased by a promising shaman, but Skorlanis was a strict town and most were frustrated by his tongue. So Landric was encouraged to expand his horizons and explore the realm, in the hopes that it might temper him. Landric began his travels with some regret, but mostly in excitement and expectations of adventure. He met other races and learned new languages, but continued to put his foot in his mouth in each of them. During this time Landric also learned more of the gods of the realm. They hadn't been emphasized in his shamanistic teachings, but seemed of great importance in the wider world. When Landric had the opportunity to meet the god Majere he gladly did so. And as it seemed proper he worshipped and gained a blue aura. However as the Clan of the Rose grew in knowledge and power it, and Landric, came to realize the many shades of grey in the world. And so Majere in his wisdom saw that they best fit the path of Neutrality. A time of great struggle came to the realm as chaos roamed, lead by the Huntress Katrana. The Rose allied themselves with any who would come against her. Sadly, in this struggle Majere became increasingly antagonized, and because of his rashness the Greater Powers banished him from the realm. Suddenly Landric found himself bereft of his god. His comrades were in a state of disorder and many joined those who had offered the most support, the Ash Moon Coven of Lady Bliss. Landric was uncertain of where his allegiance lay, though he did not wish to dishonour the spirit of Majere. When the goddess Bliss approached Landric with the chance to worship her, he was caught off guard. Bliss wished to continue her own struggle against Katrana, and to uphold the spirit of Majere. Landric discovered her to be a much more personable goddess, and discovered in her a kindred spirit of mischief. At this realization he quickly came to her Lair and knelt before her in worship. Now Landric finds in Coven a place of fun, where he can imbed his foot as deeply as he pleases, and a place (often) of much spam. He now delights in occasional gifts of affection (mmm, crunchy!) to his Lady Bliss, and strives to improve himself to better engage in the struggle against chaos.
