Character History For Striker Have you ever felt so much pain? Pain so bad it could break the strongest warrior and mystify the best healers. That is hat I feel every day my friends. I am not talking about pain inflicted from mortal wound. I speak of that which consumes me. It is the remembrance of the past. The past that made me the man I am today. A past so dark that the mere memory of that which has happened drops me to me knees and makes me beg the gods for it to stop. You see me each day, but you don’t understand. There is only one who knows and that person is myself. I do not want people to pity me nor do I want them to ridicule me. Today you learn. My story shall be told, so listen clearly and then let me be on my way. 50 years ago to this day I was born. Who are my parents you ask. I can not answer that question for theirs names are a mystery even to me. Do you remember your childhood? Was it a pleasant childhood? Let me tell you of my childhood before I say any more. The day I was born I was stolen from my mothers dead arms. A gypsy named Shalon was my kidnapper. My early childhood is filled with memories I wish to forget. Being raised in a broken down hut on the banks of the Wyz river. The Hut itself to small for but one person to live in. Playing among the forests and later practicing the magic arts against the jungle animals. Waiting for my time. Waiting for when I was big enough to take my life in my own hands. I remember the day clearly. I was 12 years old and Shalon was inside the house passed out from al the wine he drank the night before. I went inside and released him from his mortal body. After that I explored the jungles deeper and soon found other life to the north. A small town called Nydia. However shortly after arriving in town I met a man named Valazar. Rather odd he was I thought, but he seemed like a good man. With this man I explored more deep reaches as of before unknown. One day exploring a section of the forest to the east of Loc Raven we found an old city. He explained to me that grand people lived here and that I had to come met them. Anyways cutting to the chase. This was a city of vampires. My friend Valazar was one of them unknown to me at the time. Upon entering the keep a dozen vampires fell from the ceilings blocking my exit. I was lead to an antechamber and put in a cell. The things they did to me there I shall not speak of. Horrific as they are. I spent 2 years in that cell. Daily beatings and things much worse. Finally I broke to their relief. I became insane. In one last desperate attempt I yelled to the heavens. I yelled as loud as I could hoping for anything at all. What I said was, “If any of you gods ill help me now I shall be bound to you forever. I will give you my life for whatever purpose you may need it for.” Suddenly the room filled with a reddish light. So bright my eyes took awhile to recover. Standing before my cell was Lady Bliss. I had heard of her in stories from those in Nydia. I was so happy to see her standing there. But she threw me for a loop. The first thing she asked was ,“ Do you have any chocolate?”. I was stunned. Here I was begging for my life and I thought my only chance to survive was going to be thrown away for not having any chocolate! I told her, “ Of course I do not. For two years I’ve sat in this hole receiving punishment in one form or anther for being human.” Slowly she looked around and in all her wisdom she said, “I understand but if I help you must bring me chocolate. And also you must keep your word and be bound to me until your days are no more.” Now that the del had been set and I had agreed to her terms, she had another little surprise for me. Forget that lets call it a gift. The bars of my cell fell outward and landed on the floor at her feet. She uttered a single word, but in that word was a lot of power. The spell she cast gave me the strength of ten men and the quickness of the fastest horse. Grabbing one of the torch holders from the walls I grabbed wooden torch holder and went out and killed each single vampire I could find. Alas Valazar was not around. It took me 5 more years to hunt him down. His dead body I cast within demon realm and let the demons feast. So you see my life is not a story I willingly give out. It is filled with much death and hatred. Unto Bliss I am still bound and my life is to forfeit. Hopefully this eases my memories some. The pain is still deep but I have learned to handle it well. Go and run you people and fear me not at this time. If ever you cross paths with the Coven I am near. Any harm done unto them will be met with swift revenge and more pain then even I feel. Good bye now.
